More Blessings to Come!

Sis Jah'Queen and Sis Queen Afua, at Omega Retreat
sisjahqueenqueenafuabeautiful.jpg

How Blessed and Fortunate we were to have our Sister Queen Afua come to our Retreat as a surprise guest speaker, healer and teacher! On the 28th of May we arrived at Omega Institute , for Service Week specifically designed as a R&R for Non Profit Organizations that have demonstrated an attitude of Community Service. Queen Afua held a City of Wellness LIFEshop where she discussed her new book, healing and holistic foods and eating. We were truly blessed, with a Family Healing and her amazing teachings for the entire Omega Community! Queen Afua will be coming back to Omega and wants the Nzingha Women Collective to participate in that service, so we are truly excited and encouraged!

With Queen Afua in the Omega Sanctuary!

Wednesday, May 2nd Chios Energy Healing with Sister Rev. Elaine Torrance from Middletown, New York. On May 2 we had the pleasure of hosting Rev. Sister Elaine Torrance, from Middletown NY, for a Chios Energy Healing Session! Sisters experienced the wonderful Healing Work of Chios and Sis Elaine's talented insights and work and were able to ask questions about this modality. We are planning another get together with Sis Elaine in the near future, and if you are interested in finding out more about her work as an Energy and Spiritual Healer, please contact Sis Jah'Queen at 845-380-9026 -The Nzingha Women: Doorway to Healing

The Mind Body and Soul Experience (Thank You Sis Chantell) was truly a wonderful Conference and Happening that the Nzingha Women Collective African Dance and Drum Class(courtesy of Sis Jerri Baker and Baba Kazi Oliver) had the chance to participate in. We enjoyed that and will be posting some photographs soon!

May 28th, 29th, and the 30th Nzingha Women: Doorway to Healing Collective will be on a Retreat at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. Omega has been kind enough to invite the Nzingha Sisters to the campus for a full retreat for three days, to replenish, regain strength and plan for our next endeavors! We are so excited about this Holistic, Whole Experience and are planning to both enjoy ourselves and work toward making Nzingha even better in the African Way, Collectively!

If you are too far and cannot make these workshops, just know we are keeping you in the loop, because we care and we want you to know, when you are able to come, you will know what we are doing and when we are doing it.
